Urban Spaces Inspire - Large Format Artwork and Collectable Design
Australian Artist Wyn Vogel - has filled her own space creating a world of colour and inspiration - working with 2D and 3D pieces. Waking every morning to pieces that mean the world to her - a collection of depression furniture, made famous by Lord McAlpine in the 1970's - 80's - when he transformed Cable Beach in Western Australia - where he spent some years collecting an amazing series of work - made from humble recovered materials during the Depression era - clever craftsmen designing them to resemble their more prominent Art Deco cousins - some started life as old boxes recycled - see the blue cupboard - the piece was all veneer - we sealed the veneer. The piece now takes pride of place in Wyn's Collection. Her 'Work' sits well in the old Queenslanders of which Queensland is very proud - such as 3 White Rooms Gallery - Paddington and/or in contemporary spaces - such as 'The Yaroomba' House!
